Ruby Susan Gladd the daughter of Henry and Madge (Talburt) Dill was born July 2, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 14, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years, 8 months and 12 days.
Ruby loved life and she loved her family. She enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her time sewing, quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed reading and volunteered at the library where she also taught sewing classes. She enjoyed being outside working in the garden and taking care of her animals. She was also a wonderful cook. She could take some flour and a bag of potatoes and make a meal fit for a king. Ruby had a huge heart and she always thought of everyone else, never doing anything for herself but serving others in any way that she could. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Madge Dill and her niece Jennifer Deann Parker.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Jerry Gladd of the home; her father Henry Dill of Hulbert; her children Justin William Terrapin of Tulsa, Patrick Lee Carlile and husband Matthew of Tulsa, Angel Danielle Terrapin of Oklahoma City, Jessi Dawn Gladd of Hulbert and Katie Schmitt of Tailholt; her sisters Carol Ann Gonzales and husband Junior of Hulbert and Carla Kay Carmichael and husband Rusty of McLoud; her brother Carl Albin Dill and wife Kathy of Hulbert and 2 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
I have missed Ruby for years. She was my cooking partner. Rest easy beautiful lady. Prayers for comfort and strength.
