Heaven has received one of the kindest, big hearted angels ever in Cousin Junior Dodd. One of my fondest memories of Junior was helping all of the younger nieces, nephews and cousins build a teepee every year in Aunt Polly and Uncle Jim's yard. We played in there all summer long. He would help us build a fire and roast hot dogs. He was always laughing and joking with us. He and Peggy gave me a stack of 45 records that were Rock and Roll when I was about 13 when I hear one of those tunes today I always think of Junior and Peggy. Happy Reunion for two wonderful people. See you again on the other side, you will be loved and missed here. My prayers to all the family wish I could be there for his service.

Oh, Jr. What can I say? You were such a warm loving compassionate human being. There were so many fun times with our families and neighbors I can’t even begin. You were my children’s Uncle Jr. even though it was not by blood. You were such a big part of our lives I hate to let you go. But, I know you are in a better place and are at peace. I love you dear friend. More than you will ever know. Hug Babe (Peggy) for me. Prayers for your family.

The man I tried hard not to meet but once I did, You became one of my closes and longest friend I ever had (42) years in fact. Our families grew together as close as any possible family members could. You taught me so much in business relations and hands on carpentry work. I am gonna miss you so much Big Guy but I feel somewhat at peace knowing your in a better place and their is no more suffering going on in your body. Please give Peggy a big ol hug from me and my family and I look forward to the day we meet again my dear friend...

A big man, that was almost as big as his heart. His size may have come from ALL that walnut cake. A truly wonderful person that loved to share himself and his happiness. If you knew Jr, you knew you had a friend. You will be missed by many. Prayers to the Family. Rest in peace.

Well, Junior Dodd, I am going to miss you. Always looked forward to see you arrive early at the Medlin-Tennison family reunion and hollar "where's the goulash" along with cousins Fred and Bob. I would deliver the rolls and you boys would harass and say aren't you going to butter our biscuits. I hear your laughter and it soothes me. You said I come to see what your going to do next. Family gatherings are so special to me and needed. Until we meet again cuz. Sending prayers to family this day.
